The RN House Supervisor at Haven Behavioral Hospital of Eastern PA oversees the provision of care for psychiatric patients while serving as a resource for direct care staff. This position involves coordinating responses to incidents and providing support to nursing management, in addition to delivering direct patient care when needed. The ideal candidate has two years of RN experience, with a focus on acute psychiatric care and management skills.
PRN RN House Supervisor - Weekends 1st/2nd Shift (7a-3:30p or 3p-11:30p)

  Position Summary
  
  • Provides oversight for the provision of care.
  • Serves as a resource to the direct care staff.
  • Coordinates on-site response to incidents, errors and sentinel events. Provides support to the DON and Nurse Manager with staffing, staff education, and other activities as assigned.
  • Provides direct patient care under the Registered Nurse job description when necessary and/or assigned.
    
    Qualifications
    
    Preferred Experience: Two years as Registered Nurse with one year acute psychiatric experience and one year management experience.
    
    Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
