Job Description:
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to
join our team at Waterview Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare in
Westchester County. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in
providing high-quality care to our residents.
About the Role
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide assigned
residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with
established nursing care procedures and as directed by supervisors.
This includes assisting residents with personal care and hygiene
needs, preparing them for meals, serving trays, and assisting with
feeding as indicated. You will also be responsible for checking
residents routinely to ensure their personal care/hygiene needs are
being met, giving/assisting residents with bath functions, and
assisting with transportation, lifting, turning, moving,
positioning, and transferring residents into/out of beds, chairs,
bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must hold a current CNA
certification in New York State and be dedicated to providing
extraordinary compassionate care to each resident. You should be
energetic, enthusiastic, committed, and passionate about quality
care. Additionally, you must be genuinely interested in helping
ill, injured, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes
challenging residents.
